are you tired of the maxi trend yet?  not this girl!

one of my favorite fashion trends for this fall is the pleated maxi skirt.  maxi dresses and skirts have been "in" for a while but they keep making these skirts longer, flowier and pleatier {and yes, im pretty sure thats a word}. 

i stopped by f21 recently to find the perfect pleated skirt but i was having a hard time committing.

i have always been a big fan of the super long dress or skirt ... even before it was fashionable.  i love being able to dress like a lady but not having to sit like one :)

12 months and counting

dana, over at hancock heir, just so happens to be married to my cousin.  this makes me a little bias towards her blog and its content.  i love being able to keep up with how the family is doing and the milestones that come and go.  and i just love the pics she posts of daddy and baby sleeping :)

  when i first bought my nikon and started this here blog, i had the opportunity to snap some pics to announce that their bun in the oven was a boy.

suddenly, this vw van seems like the only way to travel :) 

one week from today, husband and i will be leaving for a mini vaca to tybee island, ga.  it is only a 12 hour drive (round trip), so there is no need for the awesomeness below.  so i guess we'll just jump in agent 86, pop in a book on tape and be there in no time.  but somewhere deep inside me agent 86 will be uncool and uncomfortable because its not this cute little v dub.

no offense, agent 86 ... i still lurve you!!!
