today, i am linking up with lauren, jeanette, rachel and lindsey to acknowledge all the little things that made this past week awesome.
ONE: last saturday was the best.day.ever.
- i began my morning with the love wins crew downtown. it was a beautiful morning surrounded by beautiful people.
- next, i hung out with some of the ladies from church packing backpacks full of school supplies for neighbor to neighbor.
- then, i headed to get my hair did and spend some time with lacie. not only does she always do a great job on my hair, she is a joy to be around.
- afterwards, my friend christina and i met up to spend the afternoon together. we ate lunch, made a pit stop by some thrift shops and then had headed downtown for the best cold brew in town. we walked around for a while sipping on our yummy coffee. it was so great to spend some time with her just catching up and encouraging one another.
the entire day was such a reminder how much i love my city and the people in it. husband and i are so blessed!

TWO: i finally finished painting the crib. woo hoo!
... and i am very much looking forward to tackling the changing table next.
THREE: headed to my hometown on tuesday evening to take the jeep to get the air condition fixed and an impromptu visit with the family :)

FOUR: husband and i completed our financial peace university class this week. it was a really great class that taught us a lot about being and staying debt free and supporting our growing family. next steps: pay off our last little bit of debt and then start baby step #3: build our emergency fund.
FIVE: i was gifted this awesome personalized tumbler from this months sponsor, the funky dot. today is the last day to enter this giveaway. CLICK HERE to enter and read more about the discount she is offering.

ReplyDeleteYour crib turned out beautiful! I can't wait to see what you do with the changing table :)
Stopping by from Life.Rearranged. I guess everyone already said it, but that yellow is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the changing table. Have a great week. xo
ReplyDeleteLove the color you painted the crib. I have seen a lot of bloggers with new babies repainting older cribs. So cool!
ReplyDeleteme again... I just read your comments... and it all sounds soo familiar. :-)
ReplyDeleteI wanted you to know that my insurance covered all but $400 of my surgery... I was happily surprised. I thought it would be much more... which is one of the reasons I waited so long.
AND... I also wanted to pass on that I know women that had b. reduction and still went on to have more children and breast feed. I however, didn't realize that was even an option... which is why I waited too... but after consulting my doctor I found out that there is a high percentage of woman that still can breastfeed. Although... like you... I would be worried that I everything "would grow back" after the breastfeeding! LOL It seemed I got bigger in the bust with each child... UGH.
Anyways... enough boob talk! I just wanted you to know the "facts" because I was wasn't fully informed before I made my decision. If I knew that it would be covered by insurance... I would of done it 3 years ago after my 3rd child. And might of considered it even before that?
Have a great Friday! Nicky
