as most of you know, i enjoy linking up with lauren and many other bloggers for high five for friday. its a great way to sum up the 5 best parts of my week. it also reminds me to be thankful and enjoy the little things :)
1) husband worked really hard last weekend to fix the headliner in the jeep. it had been hanging down for a while and really annoying us. as much as we would love to go out and find a new vehicle for our growing family, the jeep is paid off and we are trying hard to keep it running until we can save up for a newer car. so, husband found a tutorial online and now i have a brand new headliner. i love that he isnt afraid to figure something out instead of just paying someone else to do it. thanks husband!
2) other than helping husband out a little with the headliner project, i spent a lot of the weekend relaxing and being lazy. at first i wasnt super happy about sitting in the house for 2 days but the heat was ridiculousness. plus i needed the rest because i am about to kick baby mode into high gear. we still have a lot of organizing, cleaning and decorating to do over the next couple of months.

4) continuing on from number 3, we should have our last medical bill paid off in the next month or so making us dept free (besides our mortgage). maybe ill post a video of husband and i doing the happy dance once we get that paid off. the next task will be to save as much as possible so we can avoid going back into debt when mister comes.
5) even though it hasnt happened yet, im sure its going to be a highlight of my week. we have some friends coming into town this afternoon and i cant wait to hang out and catch up. ill give any updates/pics from the visit next friday.
have a great weekend!!!
i never really thought that it's better to buy a used car than a brand new one with small payments each month. i guess i'm not that financial savvy yet. i hope you get to list financial tips in the future. :)
