day six

grey sweater: target
brown vest: charlotte russe (?)
jeans: target
boots: target

i am breaking the rules and its making my eye twitch.  wearing black and brown together is something i have been trying a little but at a time.  im trying really hard not to care but there is a part of me that will always care.  oh well, keep calm and carry on, right?

today i was going for something modest, warm and practical.  im headed downtown this morning to serve biscuits to the homeless with love wins ministries.  afterwards, im driving around to help a friend look for an place to rent downtown.

ps - im now a red head!  just a temporary thing but it will help me thru this time of boredom as i let my hair get past this awkward length.

-----------------------------------------

i would like to end up by sharing with you colossians 3:12-14.  its a verse i am familiar with but found it again during my reading this week.

therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, humility, gentleness, and patience.  bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.  forgive as the Lord forgave you ...

{and here comes my favorite part!!!}

 and over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

  1. i feel you. black and brown is one of my biggest cardinal fashion no-nos. i can even do black and navy, no problem, but black and brown? i would rather wear dirty clothes. my best friend mixes and matches them all the time and it looks fine simply because she just doesn't care. but i care, haha.

    after all that, i still think that this outfit looks darling on you!
