i know i have a ton of them, but i am drawing a blank.  also, i dont save/keep a lot of pictures that display my insecurities.  but i guess if i had to choose one it would be my posture ... it sucks.  i sit and stand hunched over most of the time.

day 17 - a picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently

this is just a few peeps from our church/small group but its a good representation of who they are and what they do.  this pic was taken during the help portrait last year.  our church is all about helping people connect with God ... and they are pretty darn good at it :)

... and of course, my little man.  

my mom always told me that my sister having a baby is the best thing next to having my own, and she was right.

day 16 - a picture of someone who inspires you

readers, meet cynthia.  

if i had to choose someone who currently inspires me, it would be this awesome lady.  not only is she adorable, she is beautiful, inside and out.  she is creative, loving, generous, has a contagious smile ... and best of all, she has a huge heart for God!  

thank you cynthia for not telling me, but showing me, what being a Christ follower looks like.  you allow him to shine thru you and i see it every time we are together.   also, thank you for challenging me to love more like Christ and then giving me opportunities to act on it.

10) my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard

day 10 - a picture of the person you do the most messed up things with

the first 9 days were a bit challenging to decide on just one photo (obviously) but today's was really easy!  these two ladies have been a part of almost every messed up thing i have ever done.  

(disclaimer - the following is a list of inside jokes that you might find annoying.  im sorry, but i am LOLing at the thought of them and knew these ladies would as well)

• building a fort in the living room (and keeping it there for a week and a half ... at the age of 22)
• walking the "plank of death" in 4 inch heels
• setting up a karaoke machine and singing over the balcony until random people come up to join us  
• "accidentally" destroying a bunch of ceramic veggies 
• throwing a graduation party and then leaving a note on the door that we were at hi5
• making jen walk around harris teeter dressed in a ridiculous 80s jumpsuit
• the "my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" episode
• spring break in cancun ... exhibit a: bar del mar with pj 
• the hillsborough hike
• fiesta para isabel 
• writing fun songs about people in our lives
• also, those "low key" evenings with jen, stephen and husband ... HA!
